Los Angeles, CA – The Global AI Council is proud to announce the appointment of Adit Sheth, Senior Software Engineer at Microsoft, as its newest Senior Fellow. With a distinguished track record in AI innovation, ethical development, and open-source contribution, Adit joins the Council to further its mission of leveraging AI for positive global impact—especially in developing regions.

At Microsoft, Adit has played a key role in advancing Microsoft 365 Copilot, leading the design and deployment of scalable AI-powered agents across HR, IT, and Facilities. His work in prompt engineering, LLMs (large language models), and AI frameworks has significantly transformed enterprise operations—automating complex workflows and improving efficiency.

Beyond corporate innovation, Adit is a prolific contributor to the global AI ecosystem, having made over 225 contributions to open-source projects such as Hugging Face, Semantic Kernel, and ASP.NET Core. He has published over a dozen articles on Responsible AI, and is a regular mentor and judge in AI-focused hackathons, championing transparency and ethics in AI development.

As a Senior Fellow, Adit will support the Global AI Council’s initiatives to expand access to responsible AI education, tools, and solutions in underserved communities. His focus areas include healthcare, education, and economic development in emerging markets.
